I participated in a Bark Cloth Making Workshop in Fort Portal in 2021. Honestly i never realised how much work went into making it. Traditionally men made Bark cloth but i would love to change that. My goal is to train women how to plant and process the barkcloth. I believe this is the way to preserve the ancient art because the women can pass their wisdom and knowledge to their children.
