
Pottery Making

Enjoy a creative, social evening of pottery making. The sessions consist of classes designed to explore various mediums for beginners and seasoned artists. Learn the ancient techniques of hand-building.
Pottery making: Hand-building slabbing, coiling & pinching projects. Learn etching techniques and your own plate, cup, bowl, candle holders and more.
Each class will move through a number of topics and allow you to spend time sculpting, experimenting and understanding approaches to pottery making.
Each class sits independently, so you don’t need to have come before to join.
Friendly and relaxed guidance throughout from artist Fatima Garelnabi. Small group sizes to allow lots of interaction and individual tuition.

April 12th & 26th (Pottery Making)
May 10th & 24th (Painting on Canvas)
June 7th & 21st (Basket weaving)
Includes:
Pottery making: Clay, underglaze pigments, firing and glazing.
Aprons & all tools are provided. Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting messy.
Maximum class size 8 people.
The classes have a minimum of 5 attendees. If there are not enough people signed up, the course will not go ahead and you will be fully refunded.
Pottery collection date: 10th May
No experience needed! Open to beginners, hobbyists & creatives of all levels. Ages 8+ welcome (kids under 10 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult).
