The ancient art of basket weaving is passed down for generations from mother to daughter. Endiro Baskets embody the distinct essence of the Ankole culture, rooted in the western Uganda.

Crafted through intricate handweaving, these baskets utilize naturally sourced sweet grass, imbued with organic dyes that enhance their ornamental qualities. Historically, these baskets have held a significant role as cherished offerings presented to brides during traditional Ankole weddings.

Their primary function lies in serving Kalo (Millet), a cornerstone of the Ankole culinary heritage.

Can be used for home decor or a table centre piece.

This beautiful basket is handwoven with sweet grass and banana stalks.
